Standard Mental Health First Aid

Option 1: Two  Full Days Consecutively

Option 2: Two Full Days Split

Option 3: Four Short Sessions
Across Consecutive or Split Days
(1 x 3 hour block each session)

About the Course:​

 

Learn how to assist adults who are developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem or in a mental health crisis, until appropriate professional help is received, or the crisis resolves.

​

This evidence-based course is delivered by a Licensed Mental Health First Aid Instructor and is based on guidelines and content developed through the expert consensus professionals, and of people with lived experience of mental health problems.

 

Successful completion of this course and its requirements accredits participants as Accredited Mental Health First Aiders, for a period of 3 years.

​

Participants are required to attend and participate in the entirety of the course.
